About Us

Welcome to Creative Junket!

Hi, I’m Natalia, the owner and creative mind behind Creative Junket. My scrapbooking journey began when I had my first child and stumbled upon scrapbooking supplies at the post office in a small Australian town. At the time, I was into card making and didn’t even know what scrapbooking was! But after joining a local group, I fell in love with the craft—and I’ve never looked back.

Scrapbooking has truly changed my life. It’s given me a way to embrace creativity and preserve my family’s memories. I love looking back at what we’ve been up to, and the process of physically crafting—shuffling paper, choosing embellishments, and especially fussy cutting—is such a joy. Over the years, I’ve expanded my interests to include pocket page scrapbooking, card making, mini albums, and even miniatures!

The Creative Junket Story
The idea for Creative Junket started with a conversation with my husband. When he asked what I’d do if I could do anything, I said, “Own a scrapbook shop.” It felt like a far-off dream, but with his encouragement, I took the leap. It’s been an incredible journey of learning, growing, and connecting with amazing crafters like you.

Why Creative Junket?
Creative Junket is all about modern scrapbooking. We focus on bright, fresh styles and offer a wide range of products, from themed collections to versatile supplies. You’ll find unique items here—like Olo markers, Shimmerz paints, and some of the best collections from Simple Stories, Echo Park, and Doodlebug, many of which are hard to find in New Zealand.

I’m passionate about making Creative Junket a place where you can find exactly what you’re looking for and feel inspired to try new techniques or explore new ideas. My goal is to help you spark your creativity with items you won’t find anywhere else.

Our Vision
At Creative Junket, we aim to inspire creativity in all its forms. My dream is to keep expanding our unique product offerings and layout kits, and to eventually host crops, classes, and one day even a retreat. I also want our shop to be a creative haven where you can find everything you need and discover ideas that excite and challenge you—like adding stitching to a page, crafting a felt flower, or experimenting with bold designs.

If there’s one piece of advice I’d give to anyone starting out, it’s this: Don’t be afraid to cut the paper! Mistakes happen, but they can always be rescued. So go ahead, grab those scissors, and see where your creativity takes you!

Thanks for stopping by—I can’t wait to see what you create.
