Shipping policy
At Creative Junket, we do our best to get your crafty goodies to you as quickly and safely as possible! Here's how it works:
Processing Times
We aim to get your crafty goodies on their way to you as soon as possible! Orders are usually processed within 2–3 business days. (Hang tight – we’ll send a confirmation once your package is on the move.) Please note that our couriers don’t pick up or deliver on weekends or public holidays, so an order placed on Friday will ship out on Monday. We use reliable courier services for all deliveries, and no signature is required by default. If you do need a signature on delivery or have special requirements, just let us know before you order – we’re happy to accommodate when possible.
Where do you ship to within New Zealand, and how long will it take?
We ship nationwide across New Zealand – from Auckland to Invercargill and everywhere in between! We’re based in Upper Hutt, so deliveries in the Wellington region might arrive pretty quickly (typically next business day after dispatch), while other North Island and South Island urban addresses typically take a couple of days via courier. Once your order is on its way, we’ll email you a tracking number so you can watch its journey. Rural deliveries will take longer!
How are shipping costs calculated? Do you offer flat-rate shipping?
We keep things simple with a flat-rate shipping option across New Zealand.
Standard shipping is $12.50 NZD nationwide, with a $4 rural delivery surcharge applied by the courier for rural addresses.
You’ll see the exact shipping cost at checkout once you enter your address — no surprises.
We also offer free shipping on orders over $100, making it the perfect excuse to top up your stash or grab a few extra goodies 💛
Please note: Free shipping is designed for full-price items and may not apply to heavily discounted Scrappy Savings products.
Can I pick up my order in person (Local Pickup)?
Absolutely! If you’re in the Wellington region, you’re welcome to pick up your order from us instead of having it shipped. Simply select “Local Pickup” at checkout – this option is free. Once we receive your order, we’ll prepare it and send you an email to arrange a convenient pickup time.
Our pickup location is in Upper Hutt (exact details will be provided in the email). We love meeting our local crafting community, so feel free to say hello when you come by! And if you need your item urgently or have any questions about pickup, just get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.
Combine Shipping
Yes, we encourage it! We understand that you might come back for a second helping of craft supplies (we’ve all been there 🙈). If you place another order and your first order hasn’t shipped yet, you can combine the orders into one shipment so you only pay for shipping once. To do this, use the code COMBINE at checkout on your later order. Using this code will remove the additional shipping charge on the new order. We’ll then merge your orders on our end and send everything together in one package.
This is our way of helping you avoid extra fees – and it’s eco-friendly to have one package instead of two! Just make sure to use the same name and address for the orders so we know they’re yours. If you accidentally forget to use the code or run into any trouble, just contact us with your order numbers. We’re a friendly bunch and will manually adjust or refund any duplicate shipping if your orders can be combined. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we want you to get all your items in the most convenient way.
International Shipping
At this time, we ship to New Zealand and Australia only. If you’re outside these countries and keen to order, please reach out to us – we might be able to arrange a special delivery just for you. We’re a small business, but we’re also crafters at heart and love to share creativity worldwide, so we’ll do our best to help if we can!
Australian Delivery
Delivery Time: Expect deliveries to Australia to take a bit longer than domestic shipping. Typically, economy airmail can take 1–2 weeks, while tracked courier parcels usually arrive faster (often around 5–10 business days, depending on the destination). Please note that customs or COVID-related delays (if any) are outside our control, but we’ll help in any way we can if your parcel is delayed.
Customs & Duties: Australian orders may be subject to import taxes or duties depending on the value and contents. Any such charges are the responsibility of the recipient. We label packages clearly to help smooth customs processing. If you have concerns about this, feel free to ask us.
Shipping estimates: See below for shipping for a standard pizza box sized parcel. We are happy to provide quotes for smaller or bigger parcels. Note that at checkout, you will be charged a flat rate of $25. Parcels that cost less will have the overage refunded. Parcels that cost more will incur a further charge before posting.

Shipping Delays & Issues
We can’t control courier delays once an order has been dispatched, but we’ll always do our best to help if something goes wrong. If your parcel is late or missing, please contact us within 10 business days of dispatch so we can assist.
