December Challenge: Summer Christmas or Cosy Christmas

December Challenge: Summer Christmas or Cosy Christmas

This month, we’re leaning into the magic of the season — the sunshine, the sparkle, the traditions, and the tiny moments that make December feel special.

Your challenge is to choose the path that speaks to you:
☀️ Summer Christmas or 🎄 Cosy Christmas.

Maybe your December is all beach bags, pōhutukawa, pavlova, and kids running around outside. Or maybe it’s quiet evenings with twinkly lights, wrapping gifts on the lounge floor, movie nights, and the soft glow of candles.

There’s no right answer — only the version of Christmas that feels like yours.

However you interpret it, this month’s theme is an invitation to capture the season in whatever way fits your life, your traditions, and your style.

💡 Ideas to Get You Started

☀️ Summer Christmas

  • A layout from a beach day, BBQ, or sunny holiday moment

  • A junk journal page using bright, fresh summer colours

  • A card inspired by Kiwi Christmas (pōhutukawa, jandals, sunshine!)

  • A spread using seashells, sand tones, greens, and soft blues

🎄 Cosy Christmas

  • A layout about decorating the tree or baking

  • A photo-less page using woodgrain, neutrals, or tartan

  • A cluster-heavy card using lights, stars, or metallic touches

  • A journal spread capturing a quiet December moment at home

Choose the mood that fits your December — or let the photos choose for you.
